Fuel Contamination
Bacteria or Fungal growth in fuel only occurs when water is present. As water is heavier than fuel, these bacteria or fungal growth form at the interface between the water and diesel fuel and “feed” off the hydrocarbons in the fuel. Water can form in fuel tanks through condensation or transfer contamination from another tank from which fuel is sourced.
Left untreated, these bacteria or fungal growths can rapidly reproduce and cause total filter blockage and severe damage to fuel systems.
Maintenance of fuel tanks require removal of as much of the water as possible and a regular maintenance treatment using Pro-Ma Diesel Fuel Bug Biocide.
For Ultimate Protection and Performance Pro-Ma Diesel Fuel Bug Biocide should be used in conjunction with Pro-Ma DT5 Plus Diesel Treatment or Marine Diesel Treatment.
By applying both these products to every fuel fill maximum protection and performance benefits are achieved saving large operational costs as well as excessive maintenance and downtime costs.
Pro-Ma Diesel Fuel Bug Biocide Applied Regularly at the Recommended Doseage will Effectively kill and Allow no Growth of the Following:
